Ilavarasi is a 2010-2014 IndianTamil languagesoap opera that aired Monday through Saturday on Sun TV from 18 January 2010 to 1 November 2014 at 1:30PM IST for 1263 episodes. It had been receiving the highest ratings of Tamil serials and received high praising from viewers.
The show starred Santhoshi, Shrikar, Rachitha Rachu, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Arun Kumar, Anuradha Krishnamoorthy and among others.[1][2] It was produced by Radaan MediaworksRaadhika and director by N.Santanam, O.N Rathnam, M.K Arunthavaraja and Sulaiman K.Babu. The story about Elavarasi (Santhoshi), a hard working woman who is the daughter of a carpenter. Born in a poor background with meager means, she works hard and overcomes unforeseen hurdles and obstacles in life and still takes good care of her familyIllavarasi is a kind-hearted woman who comes from humble beginnings. The serial shows the family drama where the protagonist has to overcome unforeseen obstacles and still take care of her family.

The series was released on 19 January 2010 on Sun TV, the series also aired on Sun TV HD. The Show was also broadcast internationally on Channel's international distribution. It airs in Sri Lanka, South East Asia, Middle East, United States, Canada, Europe, Oceania, South Africa and Sub Saharan Africa on Sun TV. The show's episodes were released on Radaan Media YouTube channel and also airs in LondonTamil Channel on IBC Tamil from 2016. The series aired in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh on Gemini TV where it was dubbed in Telugu language as Eshwari. It ended its run on 12 July 2013 after airing 97 episodes.[citation needed] In the United Kingdom, the series airs on the Tamil channel IBC Tamil.[citation needed]

Bai Chali Sasariye is a 1988 Rajasthani language film.[1] The movie ran for 100 days and thus created a history in Rajasthan cinema.[2]
It was reported in 2004 that the film helped revive interest in films made in the Rajasthani language,[3] but an article in 2005, speaking toward the decline of the Rajasthani film industry, reported that Bai Chali Sasariye was the only successful Rajasthani film over the previous 15 years.[4] This movie was remade in Telugu as Puttinti Pattu Cheera (1990), Marathi as Maherchi Sadi (1991), in Kannada as Thavarumane Udugore (1991) and later in Hindi as Saajan Ka Ghar (1994) starring Juhi Chawla and Rishi Kapoor.[5]
